生活! 在广场上 is the second Friday night of the month. It is a night where the Plaza District comes alive with artists, 音乐家, shoppers and hungry patrons wanting to check out one of the local restaurants. Last Friday a group of us checked out 生活! 在广场上. We quickly parked on one of the side streets off of 16th street.

On our way to 16th street we found a welder that was showing off his craft on the street outside his shop. Watching him intrigued us to go in his shop to see what other things he had made. He had 公司redible ornate iron bed frames and other furniture pieces. They were absolutely 公司redible.

After checking out his stuff, we headed down 16th to check out artists showing on the street and local shops. We wandered in and out of local galleries and stores. There were several local food trucks up and down the street.

We had a hard time deciding on which local restaurant we were going to eat at. We ended up having pizza from Empire Slice. We ordered the pizza because the wait was very long; next time we go to 生活! 在广场上 we will put our name in the restaurant of our choosing right when we get there. However, ordering the pizza worked out nicely, we found a picnic bench and enjoyed our pizza. It was a perfect night for dinner outside. We enjoyed yummy garlic knots and pizza.

生活! on the plaza is a lot of fun! Go enjoy one of the Plaza District's delicious restaurants, people watch and discover local artists and shops. 享受!
